I have a proxy site using Glype 1.1,
the site is build to help my friends access website that is blocked by the office proxy.

But recently, the proxy policy and provider of my office is changed
they don’t use black/white list anymore. They use site filtering and/or DNS filtering, because of that, my proxy site is blocked

Now, I manage to get my proxy site can be accessed,
however, when people start surfing with the proxy,
the site filter work again (the proxified page is blocked)

how do I fix this?
I just can’t find out what is the pattern that the site filter use

i currently have the glype tube 1.0 on my site but im having a issue when more than one pc on the same network is watching a video from youtube through my proxy my site becomes unresponsive from the same network if i try from a different network everything works fine ive noticed many site with the same issue except for the ones using jwplayer ninjacloak dot com works fine but i dont kno how to put the jwplayer in my site doesnt any one how to fix my uissue or put the jwplayer into the youtube.com.php script?

Hi everyone,

I just joined this website so I could ask you all a question. I have a program that I would like to use and for this it is necessary for me to have a non-US ip address. I cannot configure the program to use the proxy server, but I would like to force my internet traffic through the Tor proxy.
I have tried using FreeCap and Proxomitron, but it just crashes on my Windows 7 x64 machine. I was wondering if anyone had a way to do what I wanted.

In a side note, I am curious why there is not an obvious solution available everywhere on the internetz. It seems to me that this would be a common desire for folks. Am I mistaken?

i got a new laptop on work and with the new one, i can’t change the proxy on IE8 i need an admin PW….

so a friend say to me that i can use http proxys.

but i don’t finde a proxy that i can Flash + Javascript, i want to use Facebook and play FarmVille and so….

but i always get errors…. games didn’t load …. 1 proxy for youtube i found, but i dont know the adress at moment, i am at home ..

please can someone help and give me a adress for a http proxy with javascript + flash so that i can usw facebook, FB Games, youtube …..

I’m new here at proxy.org !

I’ve got a couple of free glype proxies up and running and I’m really interested in increasing their privacy, security, functionality, performance etc. etc… as well as becoming a useful contributor and fellow forum member here.

My UK based proxy is running with the fairly new 100% free ‘Performance and Security for Any Website’ service from CloudFlare.com

This is sort of like OpenDNS, DDoS Protection and IP Blocking all-in-one ! The service also externally caches content and routes traffic on super fast pipes, reducing bandwidth usage up to 65% i.e. a glype / proxy / web host / admins dream…

You can find the cPanel plugin over at github https://github.com/cloudflare/CloudFlare-CPanel So, you can even ask your web host to implement it for you for free as well.

1. With an IP like 111.222.33.44, I’d assume that ALL IPs like 111.222.33.xx are in the same general geographic location… is that correct?

2. What about 111.222.32.xx ? Are they all Near the same area as 111.222.33.xx ?

3. What about 111.222.xx.xx ? Are they all Near the same area?

4. Where is a website that tells me a bunch of the IPs that are near, for example, Chicago… or Miami ?

5. Where is a website that tells me the location of an IP?

Hey guys,
Why does this seem to sporadically happen to my sites.
With out me doing anything to my server ALL of my proxies are all getting this error and not resolving any hostnames.

The requested resource could not be loaded. libcurl returned the error:
Couldn’t resolve host ‘google.com’

Its not just Google i have tried many sites, but i had this problem before and as fast the problem occurred it solved itself and everything went back to normal without me doing anything. But i would rather be able to fix this or know what is causing it to happen rather then just hope for it to go away.

Did some research and people said it could be a problem with the Host, i know my host is fine (WDServers(FDC)).

Thanks for any “light shedding” on this situation.

Iv seen this problem has been posted before so i thought i would let everyone know that my hosts resolvers were offline. If you having this problem contact your host and in the mean time change your primary resolver and restart your server.

Proxies Exchange Links, Trade Index

No particular reason I’m messing around with proxies, guess it’s just another step in learning. This proxy business started with Tor and Vidalia and have read just about all the documentation at their site(s).

The ‘Tor-button’ that sets up proxies in Firefox (3.6.x and earlier) slows my internet by about 90%. Using FF as an example, I used those proxy entries and set up Safari which also barely crawled.

Curious, is there something inherent in a browser proxy that nearly disables surfing? Or is there something else I haven’t come across yet? Is what I’m doing called a web proxy?

Kinda curious what a socks proxy is too – but maybe should save it for another time.

I have a question about SMTP. Im setting something up that requires SMTP. Am i correct with creating a email account from my server and use the email address as the SMTP login but is it like “account@domain.com” or “account+domain.com” and the email password as the SMTP password ? And im guessing that the SMTP host is just “mail.mydomain.com” or would it be hostname of the server in this case “beta.fattwam.com” or is that only required in SSL ?

Hey, it’s my first post on this forum but I have been reading it for a while, I’m thinking about making a proxy but I have some thoughts and questions.

First off, I wanna start the proxy both for educational purpose, money making purpose and for the fun-factor in having one.

I’m thinking i’ll use the Glype script as its been recommended by many people and it was really easy to set up, works really well and looks really good.

My intital thought was to host this at home, that way I do not have to care about hosting limits, althought, I only have a megabit of upload at home, I could push about 120-130kB/s around the clock, and I don’t know if this is sufficient or not, IT IS 300GB of data, and in full duplex 600GB so it’s a lot more then some hosting companies are offering, but maybe the link is simply too slow for a reliable good proxy since if let’s say 10 people are using some picture/file heavy site the link will become really slow and unusable fast.

Thoughts on this?

Also, I enabled zlib compression in PHP 5 (which I plan to use) is this any different, better or worse then mod_deflate in apache? I currently set zlib level to 1 since I heard anything above that creates significantly higher CPU usage and minimal bandwidth savings.

On the hardware side I got a P4 2.0 ghz with 512mb ram running windows, is this enough?

Legal issues: biggest problem hosting this from home would be legal issues I guess, maybe someone who been in this business for a long time can shed some light on the situation, how many incidents with the authorities have you had? Am I even quilty of anything if someone would do something illegal through my proxy?

Ads: What advertising company should you aim for, ads on frontpage does this generate much? Or should you aim for those really annoying pop up ads that I seen some people have.

Happy for response, just brainstorming ideas here.

ps: What countries to block by default? How do I found the ip-range to these?

Hello. My knowledge of proxies is limited to using software like Hidemyip which unfortunately is not meeting my requirements.
I need IP for the following functions:

1) As some of you may know, internet is highly monitored in mainland China because of which it is quite dangerous to view or contribute content related to things like democracy, the Tiananmen Square massacre, et cetra, basically anything that portrays China in poor light.

2) Another issue which is related to the first one. There is a website, 4chan.org, that I wish to contribute in(or at least in some sections of it) but all ip addresses originating from China are barred from posting anything. I have tried software like Hidemyip but all of its ip addresses have already been banned by the website.

I have viewed some lists containing proxies and added them in the Connections tab of Firefox. They usually result in a message “Connection timed out” coming up when I try accessing a website.

Any help would be much appreciated.

So first of all, I know almost NOTHING about proxies so I may use terms the wrong way and a lot of other stupid stuff but I am in need of some help.

I created a simple web crawler that scrape forums for information and gather them in order to track how your brand spread and stuff like that. To do that properly I made the web crawler log in to the forums and then some problems came.

From nowhere one of the forums put a ban on my username, email and IP and of course all of the other forums followed along and banned me. Could find my ip as black listed at stopforumspam.com but I have never even posted in that forum.

So what I really need is some kind of private proxy service that I could connect through that allows me to have up to 20 IP´s with different beginnings of the IP. Because I have seen that the forums tend to ban for example 143.12.*.*.

So it would be pretty useless for me to have 143.12.12.44 and 143.12.45.11. And so on.

Is it possible to have this kind of IP service? With fast and reliable proxies?

I could pay about anything to get it.

I’m in the market for a very deal. Has to be 8GB RAM, 1TB or or so HDD and between 10mbps and 15 mbps sustained bandwidth. Would like a CPU comparable to a Q9550 and about 10 IPs would be enough.

So I signed up to XtendMedia last month, and they want me to send them an invoice so they can pay me (less than $500 so I want PayPal). I have some questions as this is new to me.

What format should it be in?
Should I just use the PayPal “Create an Invoice” feature? If so, what settings? Invoice date? Payment terms? Due date?
I create it for the amount “Net pub comp” in USD I assume?
Which email address to I send it to?

Of course I need to include my publisher ID.

Any help? I can’t find anything online from Googling or on their website.
