Help, How Can I Deter Armadillos?

‘ve gotten several questions about controlling armadillos and I really have no answer for them. I’ve never gardened in armadillo country. Last week I mentioned using blood meal to deter chipmunks and squirrels, but armadillos are insect eaters and I’m not sure they care about the scent of blood. Have you tried anything thing that actually detered them?

The Great Neck Swap

Switched necks around. Put the 2001 Squier CAR headstock neck on the FSR Natural Ash body. The Squier neck is thicker or something as I had to raise the saddles a lot to get normal action. It is a chunkier neck than the MIM, maybe 1/16-1/8″ maybe?
The MIM ash neck is now on an MIM CAR body with GFS fatbody pickups. Ready for sale. Still has fret buzz on 7th fret with the wound ‘D’ string…

Garden Journals Made Easy

I would love to have a handy reference to what I planted, where I put it, when it bloomed, how much it produced, when it died, and on and on. Even when I start off strong, it seems actually gardening always gets in the way with the journal. In past year’s the closest I’ve come to success was to throw all my labels and seed packets into a large plastic bag.

id you know that mice who feed on the mycobacterium in the soil are happier and less anxious than mice who don’t? I can’t imagine how they determined this, but the pertinent part of the study is that these same mycobacterium boost the moods of humans who inhale them during outdoor activities, like gardening or even raking leaves. Fall and winter gardening is a great way to counter the effects of less sunlight.
