New York’s Elinor Arwyn, the bands vocalist and lyricist, is a walking contradiction; a femininity evocative of old Hollywood with a brazen New York world-view, her voice is completely her own. She is a drummer with classical voice training who toured Eastern Europe as a soloist with a gospel choir. Arwyn’s lyrics and musical sensibilities are filled with her love of Shakespeare and Eminem, Madonna and Janis Joplin, as well as the priceless anecdotes and wisdom that one only acquires earning the title of downtown “it” girl in New York nightlife.

Aaron Strand grew up in Southern rock n’ roll capitol, Athens, Georgia, and plays like it. The poise of a gentleman with an appetite for danger, Aaron has channeled his voice into the blues guitar which he has been playing for 13 years. Following a tradition set forth by Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page and Jack White, Aaron fills each song strong, biting rhythm and seamless transitions to smooth, soulful solos.
